The Provost's Campus Council on Community and Diversity invites the members of the campus to a series of open forums. The purpose of the forums is to familiarize the campus with the discussions and activities of the Council, to share what the council has been disussing, and to hear from campus members. Students, staff and faculty from the campus are invited to come and communicate concerns, issues and ideas. The Campus Council is a diverse group of administrators, faculty, staff and students whose charge is to enhance communication and strengthen ties among the diverse constituencies of the larger campus community. The Council, chaired by Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor Bob Grey, invites you to bring your bag lunch and join in these community conversations.
"Borderlands are physically present whenever two or more cultures edge each other, where people of different races occupy the same territory, where under, lower, middle and upper classes touch, where the space between two individuals shrinks with intimacy." - Gloria Anzaldua
